Julia Leblanc, PT, DPT, RYTClinical Manager - Northborough
Registered Yoga Teacher Julia is a native of Shrewsbury and completed her physical therapy degree from Simons College in Boston in 2005. She has been practicing physical therapy for the past 15 years in a few local clinics and is well known in the community. She has experience in working with athletes of all ages from recreational to professional, including dancers. Julia has a strong dance background, previously working with the Boston Ballet while she worked at Boston Sports Medicine. She helped to develop a dance medicine program there and has continued to develop similar dance rehab programs in the area. She enjoys working with patients with spinal dysfunction as well as helping post-surgery patients recover to their full function. She has strong focus on manual therapy and holds certifications in dry needling, spinal manipulation and the Graston technique. She is also a certified Yoga instructor who teaches locally at Metrowest Yoga as well as has her own company, Arise Yoga and Wellness. Julia has experience as a bodybuilding competitor and competed 5 times in 2011-2012. She has a background in dance and gymnastics. She enjoys spending time with her family, practicing yoga, cooking and doing outdoor activities.
