Manual therapy treatments include massage, adjustments to joints and the spine, positioning exercises and other higher level techniques. By us getting our hands on your injured area, we can many times improve the function and quality of the problem to get you moving better and healthier!
We utilize Sole Supports (www.solesupports.com) as our custom brand of orthotics. Getting support to your feet can many times help your problems. Proper support leads to better posture and alignment which leads to better function. Better function = restored Mojo!
We deal with Fall issues daily. As we age, poor balance is very common in everyone. This leads to a fear of falling which limits function and limits activity levels. We train balance at Flaherty PT by doing a focused program of strength training, balance training and breathing to focus on anxiety. Training balance this way leads to confidence and better function!
This is an awful feeling. Imagine the room spinning. Imagine always feeling unstable. Specific treatments and exercise leads to better confidence, better function and restored Mojo!
Jaw pain, headaches and poor postural alignment can be extremely painful. Retraining posture and restoring normal function are all activities that lead to improved function and restored Mojo!
Neck, upper back and lower back pain. OUCH!!!! We treat this too. Using postural alignment, spinal exercises and stability training, we restore your strength and function related to improved stability. Improved stability = Restored Mojo!

A concussion is an awful feeling. Usually dizziness, feeling lethargic and not yourself are all common causes. We work with all types of concussions, those that are sports specific, work related and or auto accident related. We stress getting you back to your normal life as quickly as we can while we address your vestibular, balance and function issues.
Instrument Assisted Massage
Also known as myofascial massage or Instrument-Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). All of our therapists are trained in the proper use of using instruments to help loosen up those tight muscles. Our therapists use instruments from Hawk Grips and have advanced training from Hawk Grips and The Graston Techinque.
Falls Risk Assessment
As we age, the risk of falls increases when we loose strength, loose balance, get more anxious and loose confidence. We have developed a Senior fall risk assessment program. We teach seniors about their risk of falling as well as what to do about it. We stress postural awareness, strength training and balance training to address this difficult problem.
Pediatric Physical Therapy
Our goal is to minimize disability and impact of injuries so that your child can get back to the activities they do best – play, attend school, and participate in sport and community activities. Pediatric PT promotes independence, increases participation, promotes motor development, improves strength and endurance, and enhances learning and growth opportunities.
