Drew Faria, PT, DPT

Drew signed on to Flaherty PT after graduating from MCPHS University in 2023, where he earned his Doctor in Physical Therapy degree. He has worked with a range of patient populations, especially patients suffering from chronic pain, Parkinson’s Disease, and who have received joint-replacement surgery. In addition to his clinical experiences, he participated in research, including a comparison of male vs female muscle activity during military-simulated activity. His most recent research focused on the accommodations needed for college students diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis to achieve academic and professional success, which was highlighted at the Consortium for Multiple Sclerosis Centers annual conferences two years in a row. He enjoys PT mostly for the ability to have patients realize the potential for rehab in their lives for conditions they once thought difficult to manage without invasive procedures or would never improve.

In his free time, you can find Drew playing his guitar named Sadie, coming up with new recipes in the kitchen, or playing soccer with friends. He loves watching the Premier League (especially his favorite team, Arsenal) on weekend mornings over waffles with his wife, too.
