Lynne’s first experience with physical therapy as a high school athlete sparked her interest in the profession and motivated her to learn more as a volunteer at Marlboro Hospital in the outpatient PT clinic. After graduating with her degree, Lynne began her career at Metrowest Medical Center, which allowed her to work in both acute inpatient and outpatient settings. She treated post-operative, neurological, pulmonary, vestibular, and general orthopedic patients. While there, she was also trained by a board-certified vestibular PT to treat patients with dizziness and imbalance. In addition, she led the pulmonary rehab program to treat patients with lung dysfunction through exercise and education on how to manage the disease including teaching breathing techniques.
Lynne places a strong emphasis on the importance of proper posture, breathing and body mechanics to improve overall wellness and to prevent re-injury. She has a strong interest in foot and ankle biomechanics and injuries, along with an interest in patients who suffer from dizziness/vestibular dysfunction. She also enjoys the challenge of working with athletes and training them to get back to their respective sports, though she finds it rewarding to see patients of all ages return to their optimal activity level.
Lynne played soccer throughout her childhood on several teams and in tournaments throughout New England. She also played Division 1 soccer in college and continued playing in her adult life. In her spare time, Lynne enjoys being outdoors, reading and spending time with her family.
