Chris joins Flaherty Physical Therapy after spending the past 10 years as founder, owner and lead therapist at Live Free Physical Therapy in Groton, Mass., before selling her successful practice to new ownership in early 2019. This brought Chris closer to her home in Northborough, where she not only gives her patients outstanding care at Flaherty Physical Therapy, but also continues to grow the Rock Steady Boxing Central Mass. program she started in Northborough. Rock Steady is a non-contact boxing exercise program for people with Parkinson's Disease. She absolutely loves sharing her passion for boxing and strength and conditioning through this empowering program and seeing the positive results it brings to those with Parkinson's Disease. Whether as a physical therapist or a Rock Steady Boxing coach, Chris always makes her patient's/client's well-being her top priority. Her extensive knowledge and experience in the field, rapport with people and dedicated, caring nature, allow her to provide everyone with the highest quality of care.

Chris is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), She is certified in the Graston Technique and is LSVT BIG certified for work with Parkinson’s. She is a previous NCAA Division I athlete in Women's Lacrosse at Boston University.

Chris enjoys spending time with her family (including her energetic identical twin boys), being outdoors, playing/watching sports, exercising and boxing.
